Part 145 approved repair station specializing in the overhaul and repair of Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 series turbine engines and components. We're a small, close-knit shop where quality and craftsmanship come before throughput

•and where every technician's work directly protects the safety of the aircraft we support.



The RoleWe're looking for an experienced Detailed Parts Inspector to join our PT6 team. In this role, you'll perform detailed visual, dimensional, and borescope inspection of PT6 hot section and cold section components

•identifying wear, cracks, corrosion, and other discrepancies against P&WC Engine Manual and Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) limits

•to determine serviceability, repairability, or condemnation.



This is a hands-on, detail-critical role for someone who takes pride in getting it right the first time.



What You'll DoPerform detailed and dimensional inspections of PT6 engine parts (compressor, turbine, gearbox, accessory, and case components) per P&WC CMM/Engine Manual criteriaRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T calloutsUse precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, CMM equipment) to verify part dimensions against limitsDocument findings accurately in work orders, inspection reports, and the shop's quality management systemDetermine part disposition (serviceable, repairable, or scrap) and route accordinglyIdentify and process life-limited parts (LLPs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and Service Bulletins (SBs) as applicableComplete and review FAA Form 8130-3 / EASA Form 1 documentation for airworthiness releaseMaintain traceability and compliance with

FAA 14 CFR

Part 145, EASA Part 145, and company Repair Station Manual (RSM)/Quality Control Manual (QCM) proceduresSupport root cause and corrective action investigations for discrepant findingsMaintain a clean, organized, FOD-free inspection areaWhat You BringMinimum [2-5] years of experience inspecting PT6 or similar small turbine engine components in a Part 145/CMM overhaul environmentStrong working knowledge of

P&WC PT6

Engine Manuals, CMMs, and Illustrated Parts CatalogsProficiency with precision measuring tools and inspection equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and engineering specificationsWorking knowledge of FAA Part 145 / EASA Part 145 regulatory requirementsFAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate preferred; NDT Level II (FPI/MPI) a plus but not requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical/aviation maintenance training preferredStrong attention to detail, integrity, and sound judgment when making airworthiness decisionsAbility to pass FAA-mandated pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testingMust be legally authorized to work in the United States and eligible to access export-controlled technical data (ITAR)

Benefits & Compensation:

•5/hour in value, depending on location and gas usage.
