Header Overview Join our dynamic team as a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician and play a vital role in ensuring the safety, quality, and integrity of critical components across the aerospace, manufacturing, and engineering sectors. In this energetic and detail-oriented position, you will utilize advanced testing techniques to inspect materials and assemblies without causing damage, supporting our commitment to excellence and safety. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, interpret technical schematics, and uphold rigorous quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Header Duties Conduct non-destructive testing using ultrasonic, radiographic (X-ray), penetrant, magnetic particle (MPI), and ultrasonic testing techniques to evaluate material integrity. Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to identify inspection points and ensure compliance with engineering specifications. Perform surface mount technology (SMT) inspections and quality control checks on manufactured components, ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards. Collect and analyze data from various testing methods, documenting findings accurately for quality inspection reports. Use hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, soldering equipment, and other precision instruments to prepare components for inspection or assembly. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and industry standards such as ASME codes during all testing procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Support equipment testing and calibration activities to ensure reliable operation of NDT tools in accordance with industry standards. Header Experience Proven experience in non-destructive testing methods including ultrasonic testing (UT), radiographic testing (RT), penetrant testing (PT), magnetic particle inspection (MPI), and X-ray inspection techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, especially surface mount technology (SMT) and aerospace component inspection. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications for data collection, reporting, and documentation purposes. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to non-destructive testing practices. Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail for quality control and assurance activities. Ability to operate hand tools, calipers, micrometers, soldering equipment, and other precision measurement devices confidently. Pay:
$25.30 - $30.47 per hour Expected hours: 60.0 per week
