In this role, you will lead the design, development, and testing of advanced semiconductor laser systems, contributing to groundbreaking projects in quantum engineering, photonics, and optical communications. Your expertise will drive the creation of high-performance laser devices, ensuring they meet rigorous electrical and optical specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of semiconductor laser innovation, utilizing a broad skill set that spans electronics design, system integration, and manufacturing processes. Your energetic approach and technical mastery will help propel our projects from concept through realization, making a tangible impact on future technologies. Responsibilities Must be US citizen or permanent resident. Experience in photonic crystal cavities and PCSELs is a plus We have positions in design/modeling, fabrication, and testing/ packaging areas. Design and develop semiconductor laser devices, integrating complex electrical systems with optical components Lead project scheduling efforts to meet milestones in fast-paced research environments while coordinating with manufacturing teams for prototype fabrication Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent project scheduling skills; strong teamwork orientation combined with independent problem-solving capabilitiesJoin us if you're passionate about pushing the boundaries of semiconductor laser technology!
