Job Description

Systems Engineer - Mid Level DCS Corporation United States, Virginia, Quantico Aug 04, 2026 DCS is looking for a junior/mid-level systems engineer to provide engineering analysis, with the focus on mechanical and electrical systems, in support of PM AAA.
Essential Job Functions:
Review, analyze, develop, and comment on technical documentation (e.g., DLA 339s, requirements, CAD files, test plans/reports, technical review documents, engineering change documents, processes and procedures) to address vehicle issues and identify technical risks. Tasks shall include, but are not limited to: Review, develop, and comment on technical documentation (requirements, CAD files, test plans/reports, technical review documents, engineering change documents); Conduct technical analyses, and attend design and ECP reviews; Witness the integration of hardware onto the platforms and the execution of tests, and review test plans and reports; Develop Informational Briefs and provide results to the Government in time to support the schedule associated with each task; Technical/engineering support to Equipment Specialists for execution of DLA-339s (knowledge of the -339 and overall DLA provisioning process; data rights); Technical/engineering support to Equipment Specialists for execution of PQDRs (knowledge of the PQDR process; data rights; root cause analysis). Represent the Program Office on site and provide the primary communication conduit for engineering issues related to the Depot PoP and Inspect and Repair Only As Necessary (IROAN) of ACVs (manufacturing processes; plant operations; production quality).
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship and a SECRET clearance is required. Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field and 4-6 years of related professional experience. Experience supporting an ACAT Level I - III program of record. Provided engineering and technical analysis on the mechanical and electrical systems of a vehicle or other complex system. Participated in system design and design change reviews and witnessed integration of hardware onto the platform. Participated in the planning and execution of test events, to include generating and reviewing test plans, conducting tests, and providing comment to test reports. Drafted, reviewed, and provided input to various technical documents, not limited to CAD files, ECP documents, DLA Form 339s, engineering processes and procedures, and program specifications. Consulted with stakeholders to support program management decisions, participating in meetings and preparing informational briefings and deliverables to present technical findings and recommendations.
