Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience, or Master's degree About Luxima Luxima Technology develops high-speed CMOS image sensors and advanced imaging systems for demanding applications in industrial imaging, machine vision, scientific imaging, medical imaging, aerospace, automotive, and other performance-critical markets. We are looking for an early-career Product Engineer to support the development, validation, and production ramp of high-speed CMOS image sensors and imaging systems. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys lab work, hardware debugging, data analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to bring innovative products into manufacturing. What You'll Do As a Product Engineer, you will help move new and existing products from engineering development through manufacturing and production release.
Responsibilities include:
Support new product introduction (NPI) from engineering builds through production release. Analyze manufacturing, test, and yield data to identify issues and drive continuous improvement. Troubleshoot product, hardware, manufacturing, test, and customer-related technical issues. Design and improve mechanical fixtures, tooling, test setups, and production support equipment. Collaborate with design, test, operations, manufacturing, and external vendors to improve product readiness and manufacturing efficiency. Support production qualifications, process improvements, and manufacturing documentation. Document engineering investigations, test results, corrective actions, and standard operating procedures. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline with 2+ years of relevant engineering experience, or a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Experience in Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, Mechanical Design, New Product Introduction (NPI), or a related engineering role. Strong hands-on troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills in a lab or manufacturing environment. Ability to analyze engineering or manufacturing data using Excel, Python, or MATLAB. Experience with mechanical, thermal, tolerance, or related engineering analysis or simulation. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional engineering teams. Strong attention to detail, ownership, and a willingness to learn semiconductor products, imaging systems, and manufacturing processes. Preferred Qualifications Experience with one or more of the following is a plus: CMOS image sensors, cameras, optics, semiconductors, sensors, or imaging systems. Mechanical fixtures, tooling, sockets, precision alignment, or production test equipment. Thermal design, package-level mechanical analysis, CTE mismatch, reliability engineering, or design reviews. Python, MATLAB, lab automation, image processing, or machine vision. Compensation Base salary:
$85,000-$100,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and relevant skills.
