Senior Electrical Engineer RF/Microwave & PCB Reverse Engineering

Job Description

Job Overview Join our innovative engineering team as a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in RF/Microwave technology and PCB reverse engineering. In this dynamic role, you will lead complex projects focused on the design, analysis, and troubleshooting of high-frequency communication systems and electronic circuit boards. Your expertise will drive the development of cutting-edge solutions, ensuring system integrity and performance across diverse applications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of electrical engineering innovation, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to solve challenging technical problems and enhance product capabilities. Header Duties Lead the reverse engineering of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and RF/microwave components to analyze design architectures, identify root causes of failures, and develop detailed schematics using AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks. Design and optimize electrical systems and circuits incorporating FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array), SoC (System on Chip), microcontrollers such as ARM or Arduino, ensuring compliance with electrical building codes and NFPA 70 standards. Conduct signal processing, RF analysis, and microwave engineering to improve communication system performance; utilize simulation tools like MATLAB, Simulink, or SystemVerilog for system development verification. Perform debugging and troubleshooting of complex electronics using oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, soldering techniques including surface mount technology, and vision inspection systems to ensure manufacturing quality. Develop automation scripts in Python or Perl for testing procedures; implement control systems programming in C++, Scripting languages, and firmware development for embedded applications. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to facilitate PCB fabrication processes, ensuring adherence to NEC regulations and electrical schematic design standards. Support project scheduling by defining milestones, managing timelines, and coordinating cross-disciplinary efforts to meet technical objectives efficiently. Experience Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a focus on electronics design, PCB layout, and system integration. Extensive knowledge of RF/microwave principles, signal processing techniques, and communication systems engineering. Strong background in electrical system design including control systems, automation, and industrial automation technologies. Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation; simulation tools like MATLAB and Simulink; schematic capture using SystemVerilog; 3D modeling with SolidWorks. Hands-on experience with FPGA programming, SoC integration, programming in C++, Python or scripting languages for automation tasks. Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to surface mount technology (SMT), mechanical engineering principles, and vision inspection systems. Ability to perform root cause analysis on complex electronic failures; skilled in debugging using advanced testing equipment such as oscilloscopes and ohmmeters. Join us to push the boundaries of electrical engineering! Your expertise will be instrumental in developing innovative solutions that power next-generation communication systems while advancing your career in a vibrant environment dedicated to technological excellence.
