Job Summary We are seeking a Bilingual Process Piping Engineer (Mandarin/English) to support process piping construction, installation, field coordination, inspection, and commissioning activities for industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have process piping or mechanical construction experience and will serve as a technical communication bridge between Mandarin-speaking and English-speaking project teams. Responsibilities Review P&IDs, piping plans, isometric drawings, specifications, and shop drawings. Support installation of process piping, utility piping, valves, supports, and related equipment. Coordinate piping routing with HVAC, electrical, structural, and equipment teams. Identify clashes, constructability issues, and field conditions requiring engineering resolution. Review piping materials, valves, fittings, supports, and equipment connections. Coordinate RFIs, field changes, redline drawings, and as-built documentation. Perform field inspections and verify installation against approved drawings and specifications. Support pressure testing, flushing, leak testing, commissioning, and system turnover. Coordinate subcontractors, fabricators, vendors, and engineering teams. Track construction progress, technical issues, and punch list items. Communicate piping-related technical information in both Mandarin and English. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of process piping, mechanical construction, or industrial project experience preferred. Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English is required. Ability to read P&IDs, piping plans, and isometric drawings. Familiarity with piping materials, valves, fittings, supports, and installation practices. Knowledge of ASME piping codes and industrial construction standards preferred. Experience with process utilities, compressed air, chilled water, cooling water, gas, chemical, or wastewater systems is a plus. Experience with AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Revit, Navisworks, or Bluebeam is a plus.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
