Job Description
Overview RISE Pediatric Therapy is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and dependable STEAM Program Instructor to help develop and lead an exciting new after-school program for teens. This is a unique opportunity to help build a new program from the ground up. We are looking for someone passionate about technology, engineering, innovation, and inspiring young people through hands-on learning in a fun, inclusive environment. Responsibilities Lead engaging weekly STEAM activities for small groups of teens Assist with curriculum development and lesson planning Foster creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking Create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment Prepare materials and equipment for weekly sessions Work collaboratively with our team to continue developing the program Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in Computer Science, Engineering, STEM Education, Robotics, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field Experience teaching, mentoring, coaching, or working with adolescents preferred Experience with one or more of the following: Coding Robotics AI tools Electronics Engineering design Makerspace projects Excellent communication and organizational skills Patient, creative, dependable, and enthusiastic Passion for helping teens build confidence through hands-on learning Position Details Part-time Approximately 3-4 hours per week to start Weekly after-school program (approximately 1.5 hours), plus paid planning time Opportunity for additional hours through camps and future program expansion If you are passionate about technology, innovation, and inspiring the next generation of problem-solvers, we would love to hear from you.
