Position Overview We are seeking a highly qualified Robotic Welding Specialist to do Applications assessment, install, commission, train, maintain, and repair our products, primarily robotic welders and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive robotic welding experience and a passion for providing top-tier technical support to customers and sales teams across Midwestern states. Ideal home location near Schaumburg, IL, or Menominee Falls, WI. May consider candidates in Kansas City, Minneapolis, or Denver area.
Key Responsibilities :
Robotic Welding Application review and assistance recommending appropriate solutions Perform on-site installation, commissioning, and demonstrations of robotic welding equipment. Provide technical training and support to customers and sales staff. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair robotic welding systems and support equipment. Assist customers in resolving operational issues in person and remotely. Develop and deliver weld instruction and training programs. Occasionally travel to other facilities in Midwest and rocky mountain states.
Qualifications:
7 years+ of robotic welding experience preferred. Hands-on robotic welding programming experience required (Continued education Provided). Offline robotic programming and design experience a major plus. SolidWorks experience is beneficial. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification preferred, but not mandatory. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and ability to travel 60% of the time, including some international trips. Ability to obtain or possess a valid passport. Available to travel approximately 60% of the time. (Weekends Off) Ability to pass background and reference checks. Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a desire for long-term employment.
