Adjunct Faculty - Industrial Maintenance Technology (in-person)

Job Description

Salary Range:
$1,700 - $3,000 per 3 credit hrs

Southcentral Kentucky CTC - Transpark Job Summary Provides in-person instruction to students in both theory and practice in Industrial Maintenance Technology.
Job Duties:
Incorporates a variety of teaching methods and materials to assist students with differing educational experiences, experiential backgrounds, and learning styles to assist them in meeting course competencies. Evaluates students' progress toward stated course competencies and informs them of their progress in a timely manner. May design, develop, and deliver short-term training courses for business and industry in the areas related to industrial maintenance. Provides training for both new and experienced maintenance, production, and engineering professionals with the tools, skills, and knowledge required to improve equipment reliability and processes through targeted training. Training areas include but are not limited to safety, PLCs, robotics, electricity, motor controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree in related field with four years related work experience or six years related work experience in field. The candidate should have a working knowledge in mechanical industrial equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, AC/DC circuits, electric motor controls, and PLCs. Candidates with experience in robotics will be given preference. The candidate must demonstrate strong communication, computer, and organizational skills.
