Job Overview Berlon Industries, located in Hustisford, WI. www.berlon.com - a manufacturer and distributor of buckets and attachments for skid steers, is seeking a highly motivated and organized Welding Robot Technician . The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work well in a team environment. Duties On the floor point to point programming Fanuc, Cobot and Yaskawa/Motoman weld systems. Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems, industrial electrical systems, and robotic controls to minimize downtime. Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and calibration of robotic equipment, vision inspection systems, and tooling components. Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and blueprints for system installation and troubleshooting purposes. Collaborate with engineering teams on lean manufacturing initiatives, process improvements, and automation upgrades to enhance productivity. Qualifications Proven experience working with industrial robotic systems such as Fanuc or similar brands in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of robotics engineering, PLC programming (including ladder logic), industrial controls, and automation troubleshooting. Skilled in reading electrical schematics, blueprints (AutoCAD or SolidWorks preferred), and schematics related to industrial electrical and mechanical systems. Mechanical aptitude with experience in tooling, machining, or mechanical assembly is highly desirable. Ability to perform root cause analysis using diagnostic tools like vision inspection systems and distributed control systems. $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
