Survey Field Technician—Tuscaloosa, AL TTL is hiring a Survey Field Technician to support a variety of civil, industrial, environmental and transportation-based projects throughout Alabama. We are seeking someone highly motivated, organized, creative, and responsible who thrives best when working as part of a team. This role is responsible for working all aspects of a survey crew under the direction of the Survey Crew Chief. No experience is required and TTL is willing to train qualified individuals. Build your Foundation. Build your Future. Build your Legacy. Come to TTL. What You'll Do Completes field assignments accurately while following the TTL safety protocol for personnel and equipment. Performs field survey operations on the following surveys: boundary, control, topographic, construction layout and staking, environmental mapping, GPS/GIS surveys, and land surveying. Works alongside the Crew Chief for completion of field work by performing the administrative functions to include all computations, reduction of field notes, maintaining records, etc.

Requirements:

Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to communicate professionally orally and in writing Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record Perform heavy lifting up to 50+ lbs Must be able to work in outdoor environments in varying weather conditions, including heat and cold Must be able to work outside typical daily 8 am to 5 pm hours Must be able to travel with occasional overnight stays
