Job Description
No experience required. Job requires travel 100% of the time, survey work primarily on solar fields across the country, mainly in southern and eastern states. This position requires two to three weeks travel at a time before coming home. Perform any of the following duties to assist in surveying land: Transports and sets up the equipment necessary to survey land and prepare a job site. Loads vehicles before heading out to the construction site. Responsibilities include marking boundaries of a job site, cleaning out the area of trees or debris, and setting up the necessary measuring instruments. Hold the prism pole so the surveyor can determine elevation at different points along the site. Other duties include creating a map of the construction site and using GPS or other technology to help the surveyor. Other duties as assigned. Must be able to pass a background check, have a clean driving record, and pass a drug test.
