Our Glenwood Springs, Meeker, Durango, Telluride and/or Gunnison, Colorado office is currently seeking a Survey Technician Party Chief. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills and experience in the following areas: boundary, easement, right of ways, topo surveys, GPS RTK and Static surveys, design surveys, aerial mapping, and construction layout. We will consider candidates with no direct experience if they demonstrate interest in a long-term survey career, strong math skills, a hard work ethic, and a desire to work outdoors. Pay is based on experience & qualifications: $29.50-$45.40/hr. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate with the client, the client's representative, and contractors Supervise field survey team Ensure team is properly equipped with personal protection equipment and following safety protocol Prepare field notes Follow local state and federal survey regulations

Qualifications:

5+ years of land surveying experience Valid Driver's License Physically capable of performing typical land surveying tasks including the ability to carry 50+ lbs. of survey gear through mountainous terrain Detailed understanding of coordinate systems Ability to work independently or as part of a crew Motivated problem solver Ability to work long hours when needed with occasional out-of-town travel Strong desire to live, work and play in

Western Colorado Additional Preferred Qualifications:
