Job Description

About the Project Sassafras Mountain Holdings LLC is seeking an experienced Georgia Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to complete a retracement survey on a recently acquired 19.92-acre property located on Lower Sassafras Parkway in Jasper, Georgia . This is more than a one-time survey project. The selected surveyor will have the opportunity to continue working with us as we move into the next phase of development. Current Project We are currently working through the Dawson County permitting process and need a retracement/boundary survey to verify the property boundaries and establish or confirm property corners.

We already have:

Recorded deed Previous recorded plat Title information Parcel information Septic permit currently in process Future Opportunity Following completion of the retracement survey, we would like to discuss continuing with the project by: Evaluating whether the property can be subdivided into two or three lots Preparing any subdivision plats if feasible Assisting with county approvals Providing additional staking and surveying services as development progresses Our goal is to leave the property with three buildable lots , if county regulations and the property layout allow. Qualifications Current Georgia Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license Experience with boundary retracement surveys Experience preparing subdivision plats Familiarity with Dawson County preferred Ability to set or verify property corners Good communication throughout the project Compensation We understand every project is different and are looking for competitive proposals based on the scope of work.
