Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Surveyor to join our team and lead the surveying efforts on diverse construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise land and construction surveys, managing surveying data collection, and supporting project teams with accurate topographic mapping and precise layout . Your expertise in advanced surveying technologies and civil engineering principles will ensure that project plans are executed flawlessly from start to finish. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale infrastructure developments while utilizing cutting-edge surveying equipment and software. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED (Associate's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field preferred) 2+ years of construction layout or land surveying experience (adjust based on position level) Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds Technical Skills Proficient with: Robotic Total Stations

Verify dimensions and elevations before construction. Establish and maintain project control. Perform quality control checks. Produce as-built documentation. Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and engineers. Troubleshoot layout discrepancies. Maintain and calibrate survey equipment. Keep accurate field notes and electronic records. Complete layout requests on schedule. Minimize rework due to survey errors. Maintain organized project records. Follow all company safety policies. Demonstrate professionalism with clients, inspectors, and contractors. Mentor junior survey personnel when applicable. Advanced Qualifications (Senior Layout Surveyor) 5-10+ years of construction surveying experience. Ability to independently establish horizontal and vertical control. Experience with machine control systems (Trimble Earthworks,). Proficiency with survey data management and CAD-based point creation. Ability to identify and resolve plan conflicts before construction begins. Leadership experience supervising field survey crews and coordinating multiple projects.
Pay:
$22.00 - $35.00 per hour
