We currently have 1 licensed land surveyor and one land surveyor in training who have all come up through the ranks under our supervision. We are looking for an experienced Party Chief to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a survey crew in the field, collecting data, and ensuring accuracy of all measurements. The Party Chief will also be responsible for supervising the crew and providing technical guidance to ensure that all survey work is completed according to established standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of surveying principles and techniques, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Lead and direct a survey crew. Ensure that all safety protocols are followed. Operate and maintain survey equipment. Compile field notes and sketches. Compute data from field notes and sketches. Conduct research for survey projects. Prepare maps, plats, and reports. Provide technical advice to clients. Qualifications
  • Proficiency in GPS, data collection, and land surveying techniques
  • Strong mathematical skills including trigonometry and geometry
  • Knowledge of GIS and data analysis skills
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
  • Familiarity with construction processes and robotic surveying technology
