Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will drive quality assurance initiatives across our manufacturing and development processes, ensuring that our products meet rigorous specifications and customer expectations. Your expertise will help foster continuous improvement, streamline testing procedures, and uphold our commitment to excellence in automotive components. Duties Collaborates with engineering and operations on all phases of APQP including PPAP submission/approval, verifies manufacturing processes and drives/confirms process capability. Develops and analyzes statistical data and determines conformance to product specifications. Plans, promotes and organizes training activities related to product quality. Investigates and resolves customer complaints regarding quality. Develops and implements detailed procedures and work instructions used throughout the organization. Lead/Facilitate quality related issues from investigation and containment through root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action to reduce or eliminate waste resulting from non-conformances, scrap, or reclaim. Supports and maintains business systems and policies necessary to achieve and maintain

Develops, owns and maintains Control Plans and process FMEA. Responsible for assigned quality control and hold notice process. Responsible for owning quality issues and engaging support as needed. Responsible for proficiencies technologies and processes in assigned areas. Interacts with co-workers at all levels of the organization building and maintaining a positive team approach. Qualifications Demonstrated methodical behaviors and approach needed to create and document work instructions and procedures. Strong communication skills, both oral and written and be able to act as primary liaison for parts assigned with internal, customer, and supplier stakeholders. Demonstrated sense of ownership for production, quality, and safety. Demonstrated emotional intelligence, operating with courage, empathy, and positivity. Excellent time management skills to balance day-to-day and long-term priorities while managing normal interruptions. Logical reasoning, processing, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated continuous improvement behaviors. Education & Knowledge Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology preferred (Job experience in similar position may be considered). ASQ Quality, Reliability, or Yellow/Green/Black Belt certification a plus.
Manufacturing / Mechanical
aptitude with tooling and gages, complex machines, assemblies, and systems. Advanced knowledge of lean principles, process management and mistake proofing techniques (Prevention emphasis over Detection) and their impact on Quality Assurance. Working knowledge of

Why's or other formal corrective action tools. 1+ years' experience in project experience including progress tracking, communicating status to team members and relevant stakeholders. 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent required.
