Job Description
About the Position We are looking for a person who likes to work hard but also have fun in the office. If you have a sharp eye for detail, a strong grasp of debits and credits, and a personality that thrives in a high-energy environment, you belong here. We are a passionate, hard-working department that genuinely respects your commitments at home. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, performing reconciliations, and supporting month-end and year-end accounting processes. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general ledger accounting and maintain accurate financial records
- Complete monthly bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records
- Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Support payroll accounting and related reconciliations as needed
- Identify discrepancies and assist with resolving accounting issues
- Maintain organized and accurate accounting files and documentation Qualifications
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
