Job Description
Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and experience working within NetSuite. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with finance and operational teams while contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of the company's accounting processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy.
Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet account reconciliations.
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
Analyze financial data and investigate account discrepancies.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for audits.
Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
Assist with accruals, prepaids, and other balance sheet account analyses.
Support financial reporting and management reporting requirements.
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP.Partner with internal departments to resolve accounting and reporting issues.
