The organization is looking for someone who is comfortable being hands-on across the accounting function today, with the opportunity to develop into a supervisory-level role over the next 1-2 years.
Main ResponsibilitiesMaintain and reconcile the general ledger, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliationsAssist with month-end and year-end close, including accruals, adjusting entries, and supporting schedulesContribute to monthly and quarterly financial reporting and ad-hoc financial analysisSupport day-to-day AP and AR activities, including invoice processing, cash receipts, payment activity, and account reconciliationsAssist with billing and collections, including researching and resolving discrepanciesSupport annual audit and tax preparationMaintain strong internal controls and confidentiality over sensitive financial informationParticipate in special projects and accounting process improvementsTake on increasing responsibility as the finance team continues to growQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field2-5 years of accounting experience within professional services or a corporate accounting environmentStrong understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting, journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and month-end closeStrong Microsoft Excel skillsWhy Consider This Opportunity?

This is a newly created position due to continued growth and offers an excellent opportunity for an accountant who wants broad exposure across the accounting function and the ability to grow with the organization.
