Type:
Direct Hire We're seeking a Staff Accountant for a direct hire opportunity with a company in Orange County. This position will have a broad accounting focus and is a good fit for someone who enjoys being involved in multiple areas of the accounting process.
What You'll Do:
- Support month end close and general ledger accounting
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Review and research account discrepancies
- Assist with customer and vendor account activity
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
- Prepare accounting reports and schedules
- Assist with other accounting projects as needed
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Experience with AP, AR, and general ledger accounting
- Strong account reconciliation and journal entry experience
- Experience supporting month end close
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Experience using an ERP or accounting system
- Strong Excel skills including formulas, XLOOKUP, PivotTables, and SUMIFS
- Manufacturing or distribution experience is a plus This is a hands on accounting role with exposure to several areas of the accounting function.
