Our CPA firm is looking for an experienced accountant to join our team. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in the variety of work in public accounting. Our CPA firm is located in a great community with an excellent school system, fitness center, aquatic center, trail system and community college.

Key Responsibilities :

Tax Preparation :

Prepare individual and business tax returns.

Financial Reporting :

Accounting to prepare reconciled trial balance, general ledger and supporting workpapers and preparation of financial statements.

Client Advisory :

Work with business owners to explain their financial data and assist with year-round tax planning.

Auditing :

Assist the audit team with auditing procedures.

Tech Optimization :

Use modern cloud-based systems and software to handle repetitive data tasks efficiently.

Position Requirements:

Education :

Bachelor's degree in

Accounting Certification :

Prefer active CPA license or qualified CPA candidate actively working toward the CPA exam.

Experience :

2 to 5 years of recent experience working in public or private accounting.

Software Skills :

Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, QuickBooks Online and professional tax and accounting software.

Core Strengths :

Strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills and clear verbal communication.
