This position supports the preparation of financial statements and general ledger activity for individual entities within a multi-entity regional company, and assists with reconciliations, month-end close, and financial analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting graduate or early-career professional to build a strong foundation in multi-entity accounting. Essential Functions:
Assist with the preparation of financial statements for individual entities, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules as part of month-end close Perform account reconciliations, including bank and general ledger accounts Assist with daily bank and revenue reconciliations Support analysis of financial data, trends, and actual results versus budget Develop a working understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll and benefit reconciliation processes Help maintain accurate and organized supporting documentation for audits and internal review Support special projects and analysis as requested by accounting leadership
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, this individual must possess: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent verbal and written communication skills A positive, outgoing personality High ethical standards The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines Solid analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus Willingness to learn multi-entity accounting practices Education and/or
Experience:
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration. 1-3 years of accounting experience is preferred; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
