We are actively seeking a senior associate with four to eight years of public accounting experience to add to our dynamic tax department. We are looking for someone with the following: Job Responsibilities Handle tax planning projects for individuals and businesses Review individual, partnership, trust, and corporation tax returns Prepare complex tax returns Manage client relationships and staff Identify and research accounting and tax related matters Provide accounting assistance to small and medium sized businesses Coordinate multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Calculate income tax provisions for GAAP financial statements Train staff Learn new information and skills quickly and stay updated on changes in tax laws Communicate with management and clients on tax issues and situations Incorporate AI tools into daily workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy, while maintaining sound professional judgment Preferred Experience CPA Four to eight years' experience in a Public accounting firm's tax department (required) Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Experience with ProSystem Engagement and/or Axcess Tax/ProSystemTax helpful Experience with CCH AnswerConnect platform helpful Experience with QuickBooks helpful Meara Welch Browne, P.C. 4121 W. 83rd Street, Suite 260 Prairie Village, KS 66208 Phone (816) 561-1400
