Job Description
Job Overview We are a full-service CPA firm seeking an experienced accountant to join our growing team. We are looking for someone with 3-5+ years of public accounting experience who enjoys working with a variety of clients and engagements. The ideal candidate will have experience performing attest engagements, preparing tax returns, and developing strong client relationships. Duties
- Perform audit, review, and compilation engagements for a diverse client base
- Prepare financial statements and related workpapers
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and nonprofit organizations
- Work directly with clients and develop long-term professional relationships
- Assist with technical accounting and tax research
- Collaborate with partners and staff on a wide variety of engagements
- Mentor and support junior team members as experience allows Experience
- 3-5+ years of recent public accounting experience
- Experience performing audits, reviews, and compilations
- Experience preparing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, and 1065)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation
- Experience with nonprofit organizations is a plus
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding client service and relationship-building abilities
