Easthampton, MA (Onsite) Client is seeking a Cost Accountant to manage manufacturing cost and inventory accounting, maintain accurate financial records, and support monthly financial reporting and plant profitability analysis. Key Responsibilities Maintain inventory, bookings, billings, and backlog reports. Prepare daily and weekly inventory movement and Cost of Sales reports. Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory variances, and product margins. Support month-end closing, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Prepare financial reports and analyze plant profitability. Coordinate physical inventory counts and inventory audits. Ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting preferred. 3-5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with inventory accounting, cost analysis, and financial reporting. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Pay:

$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
