Purpose of Position We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support daily financial and accounting operations, including accounts payable, revenue reconciliation, inventory, reporting, and budgeting. This role also supports employee benefits and manages timely onboarding and offboarding through Gusto while collaborating across departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Position Overview The Senior Accountant supports the day-to-day financial and accounting operations of the organization, working closely with the Director of Finance and Assistant Controller. This role is responsible for accounts payable, revenue reconciliation, inventory oversight, month-end reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, while partnering with department managers to monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities. The position also supports employee benefits administration and onboarding and offboarding through Gusto. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and analytical, with strong accounting skills and the ability to collaborate across departments. Key Responsibilities Assist the Director of Finance and Assistant Controller with daily accounting operations and financial oversight. Support month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Oversee inventory processes, ensuring accuracy while identifying cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies. Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing, approvals, payments, and vendor coordination. Monitor and reconcile revenue across rooms, food & beverage, events, and other hospitality services; prepare daily sales reporting and work with hotel teams to ensure accuracy. Partner with department managers to monitor expenses, manage costs, and identify opportunities for improved financial performance. Track employee benefit eligibility, coordinate enrollment, and maintain accurate records to support compliance. Manage employee onboarding and offboarding within Gusto, coordinating with hotel leadership to ensure timely and accurate completion. Facilitate 401(k) tracking and transmission. Maintain compliance and accurate balancing Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3-6 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality (hotel, resort, restaurant, or entertainment). Knowledge of hospitality accounting systems (e.g., StaynTouch, Toast, QuickBooks, M3, or similar, Gust or similar). Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls. Advanced proficiency in Excel. Detail-oriented professional with strong multitasking and organizational skills, capable of independently managing complex financial responsibilities and meeting tight deadlines in a high-pressure, unsupervised environment Preferred Experience Experience with hotel or restaurant revenue reporting Knowledge of inventory and cost control for food & beverage Experience with multi-location hospitality operations Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with company match Employee discounts on hospitality service
