Wychmere Beach Club is seeking to hire a temporary General Accountant for a three to five month term. The General Accountant is responsible for providing support in our operational accounting activities.

Core Responsibilities:

The General Accountant is responsible for but not limited to performing the following duties: Responsible for AP/AR management Facilitate reconciliations and assist in processing any related accounts payable or receivable, communicating across departments Provide reporting on daily restaurant charges and pool fees Ensure daily member charges are posted accurately to member accounts Send monthly statements to members, maintain member files, record member payments Record invoices in Sage and ensure accurate GL coding for each Record and verify journal entries Manually process credit card charges Assist with bank reconciliations

Candidate Requirements:

B.S. in accounting with 1-3 years of experience, prior hotel or resort experience preferred Competency in all Microsoft Office products is required Experience working with Sage, Tripleseat and Toast software platforms is preferred Experience handling bank reconciliation and journal entries is preferred Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task

Pay:

$35.00 per hour
