Senior Cost Accountant Consultant We are currently seeking candidates for a Senior Cost Accountant Consultant at a manufacturing company in Norwood, MA 02062. The ideal candidate will have experience in reviewing, editing, and building Cost SOP's. Will work directly with the Controller and CFO. This is a temporary role (est. duration 4+ months) with an opportunity for extension.

Hourly pay rate:

Between $65.00-$75.00 (based on relative work experience), 40 hours per week. On-site 4 days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support financial audits, month-end closing, and other ad hoc requests Assist with preparing analysis of financial data to quantify cost savings opportunities Analyze monthly fluctuations in volume and amounts as compared to prior months and budget Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and standard costs Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory analysis and reconciliations Support management with data analysis to monitor inventory stock levels Provide operations with financial analysis and thorough reporting of plant metrics and KPI's Prepare and review WIP analyses Ensure product costings are accurate and up to date Analyze job production costs, material variances, and sales margins Reconcile and reduce inventory variance accounts Calculate/analyze labor overhead costs

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and understanding of GAAP accounting required 4+ years of job costing and/or POC accounting experience 5+ years of general ledger/Project Accounting experience Proficiency in Excel is a must Experience withtop-tierr accounting/ERP systems Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines and work in a deadline-driven environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills For immediate consideration, interested and qualified candidates, please forward an updated resume in a Word document to hgorman@daleyaa.com IND123
