On-Site Position Description:

The Controller will plan and direct the company's accounting operations. Responsible for overseeing the operations of the Accounting Department, which includes Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliations.

Essential Functions:

Oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. Treasury Management and cash forecasting. Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data. Manage the month-end and year-end closing and audit processes. Collaborate with other departments to develop and monitor financial metrics and key performance indicators. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making. Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure effective internal controls. Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.

Competencies:
High Degree of Ownership Organization Problem-Solving Project Management Communication Required Education, Experience, Certification and Licenses:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA Certification (Preferred). Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Microsoft Office Suite proficiency. Experience with construction software, preferably Vista.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. EOE
