We are working with a leading manufacturer who is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. - Position will be promoted to Controller!

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of financial statements. Maintain General Ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations and month end close processes. Analyze cost accounting activities, including inventory valuation, standard cost development, and variance analysis. Assist in the development and preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, working closely with department heads to ensure accurate and achievable financial targets. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations to improve profitability and cost efficiency. Continuously evaluate and enhance accounting processes and systems to streamline workflows. Assist with the annual audit process.

Requirements:

4+ years of accounting experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation :

$80k
