$85,000-$110,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. Position Summary MAS Management LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to oversee accounting and financial reporting for multiple affiliated companies . This position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts, and providing financial insight to leadership. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of construction accounting. The ideal candidate has analytical, organized, and committed to maintaining the highest level of financial integrity and confidentiality. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Maintain the general ledger and oversee month-end and year-end close processes. Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow. Prepare financial analyses and reports to support business decisions. Ensure compliance with GAAP, federal, state, and local tax regulations. Coordinate annual audits and work with external accountants and auditors. Oversee accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations. Review job costing and project financial data for construction operations. Monitor financial controls and recommend process improvements. Assist with financial planning, risk management, and strategic initiatives. Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation. Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Preferred Experience in the construction industry. Experience with job costing and project accounting. Experience working with multiple business entities. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Effective time management and organizational abilities. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with leadership.
