My client, a rapidly growing food manufacturing company located in Union, has an opportunity for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the company's Accounts Payable, purchasing transactions, inventory accounting and controls, and cost accounting functions. This is a hands-on accounting role that requires a strong understanding of how purchasing and manufacturing activity flows through the accounting system and impacts inventory, COGS, gross margin, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive QuickBooks experience, strong manufacturing accounting experience, and the ability to take ownership of accounting processes from transaction entry through reconciliation and reporting. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable & Purchasing

Manage the full Accounts Payable process from invoice receipt through payment.
Review and record vendor invoices and purchases accurately and timely.
Ensure purchases are recorded in the proper accounting period and to the appropriate account.
Match purchase orders, receiving records, and vendor invoices.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate vendor records and AP aging.
Properly account for inventory purchases, freight, shipping, and other costs associated with purchases.
