Job Description:
Staff Accountant Hybrid - 3/2 hybrid schedule About the Opportunity We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing finance and accounting team. This role will be responsible for supporting the monthly close process, preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, assisting with financial reporting, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post monthly journal entries, accruals, and adjustments Perform bank, balance sheet, and general ledger account reconciliations Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities Analyze financial transactions and investigate account variances Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and related accounting Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management activities as needed Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies Participate in process improvement initiatives and accounting system enhancements Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1+ years of accounting experience required Public accounting experience is a plus Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis functions Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines What We Offer Competitive salary and performance-based incentives Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) with company match Generous paid time off and holidays Professional development and career growth opportunities Collaborative and supportive team environment
