full-time Growing manufacturing company in business for over 60 years is seeking a Senior Accountant to work closely with the CFO. As the Senior Accountant, you will oversee the day-to-day financial operations. The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for producing timely and reliable financial reports, providing variance analysis and insights to support strategic management decisions. In addition to working closely with external business partners (auditors, lenders, tax accountants). This is a 3 days on-site and 2 days remote schedule with a compensation range of 110K to 130K with bonus and benefits. The ideal Senior Accountant holds the following experience: 5+ years of accounting experience with audit, bank reconcilations, reviewing margins, sales tax, consolidations. Inventory experience would be a plus. Understands accounting and prepaids, and accruals. Holds a Degree The key responsibilities are as follows: Perform month end closings for parent company and 5 subsidiaries (including 2 overseas entities) Coordinate year-end review for parent company as well as several yearly audits related to union collective bargaining agreements Work with operations department to understand internal labor costs and margins on local jobs Partner with an accounting staff of 6 people including AR and AP departments Create quarterly financial statements related to bank covenants Various other responsibilities on a day-to-day basis
