Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team at Lynmar Builders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, and maintaining financial records. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Duties Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Perform account reconciliation to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately. Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions and vendor communications. Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable activities. Support tax-related tasks by providing necessary documentation and information for audits. Utilize accounting software such as Sage and Timberscan for efficient processing of transactions. Report to Controller for reporting and if need of assistance. Assist with accounts receivable tasks as needed to support overall financial operations. Requirements Proven experience in an accounts payable or accounting role is preferred. Familiarity with account reconciliation processes and tax regulations is a plus. Experience with accounting software Attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
