This is a great opportunity to launch your career in public accounting by working alongside experienced tax professionals. You'll gain hands-on experience inindividual and business tax preparation, compliance, and planning, while supporting clients across diverse industries.

What You'll Do:

As part of a team supervised by a Manager or Partner, you may: Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and nonprofits. Assist with tax planning and research projects using authoritative sources and Withum's proprietary tools. Analyze financial data and apply tax regulations to client scenarios. Collaborate with audit and advisory teams to ensure integrated client service. Participate in client meetings and contribute to strategic discussions. Leverage tax technology platforms and data analytics tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Stay current on evolving tax laws and industry trends. Assume increasing responsibility on engagements as your proficiency grows. Miscellaneous tasks as assigned Thekinds ofpeoplewewant totalk tohavemany ofthefollowing: Graduated or graduating college student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting GPA of3.0 or higher Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

150 credit hours and prior internship experience with a public accounting firm Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn and grow Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with tax software is a plus Ability to work in one of our office locations Be in a Position of StrengthSM. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.
