Simply put:
You help make sure the Center's financial operations are accurate, organized, compliant, and completed on time. You'll manage and monitor financial systems while helping ensure the Center meets Company, Center, and Government requirements. 💼 What You'll Do As Senior Bookkeeper, you'll: 💰 Manage Financial Systems — Support and maintain the Center's financial accounting processes and systems. 🧾 Oversee Payroll & Accounts Payable — Help ensure payroll and accounts payable processes are accurate and completed within required timelines. 📊 Maintain Accurate Financial Records — Review financial information, identify discrepancies, and ensure required reporting and deliverables are completed correctly. 🔍 Analyze & Solve Problems — Evaluate financial data and systems, identify potential issues, and determine appropriate solutions. 🛡️ Protect Financial Integrity — Maintain effective internal controls designed to help prevent fraud, misuse, errors, and improper financial activity. 🔒 Maintain Confidentiality — Handle sensitive employee, student, payroll, and financial information with professionalism and discretion. 🤝 Support Center Operations — Provide timely and reliable financial support to staff and students while helping the Center operate effectively. 👥 This Is Also a Leadership Role The Senior Bookkeeper isn't only responsible for financial systems—you'll also help lead and develop staff.
Responsibilities may include:

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school in accounting, or in an associated business field including satisfactorily passing Intermediate Accounting I, II and III Two years experience in accounting, Two years supervisory experience and/or Job Corps finance managerial training during employment as an Adams' Accountant.
