Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review accounting records and do tax accounting work for small and mid-sized business clients across multiple industries.
• Complete write-up work and maintain accurate books to support timely financial reporting.
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet activity to ensure the integrity of client financial data.
• Record journal entries, maintain general ledger activity, and assist with month-end close processes.
• Create financial statements and explain results to clients in a clear, practical manner.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, responding to questions and supporting ongoing accounting needs.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed for client engagements.
• Use QuickBooks and other accounting applications effectively while adapting to new tools and platforms as needed.
