System One is assisting a company in the Tulsa Metro area with a search for a Property Management Accountant. This position will work with a team of people who excel in their areas of responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and reconcile general ledgers for assigned properties
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and year end adjustments
Review accounts payable
Review accounts receivable, tenant ledgers, and rent roll reconciliation
Process tenant billings, move-outs, and reconcile adjustments
Monitor cash balances daily and prepare bank reconciliations for multiple property accounts monthly
Ensure timely and accurate recording of revenue, expenses, and accruals
Coordinate with property managers to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights
Maintain compliance with accounting standards, lease agreements, and company policies
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of experience in real estate or property management accounting preferred
Strong understanding of GAAP
Proficiency with property management software
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
