Baskin Hadley & Associates, P.C., a dynamic full-service public accounting firm located in Ponca City, OK, provides a wide range of tax, accounting and advisory services to a diverse roster of clients including small businesses and individuals. We're currently seeking a dedicated self-starter with 2+ years of recent public accounting experience to lead tax and accounting engagements.

Responsibilities:

Tax Services

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary and non-profit tax returns. Accounting Services
• Lead engagements throughout all phases of accounting including tax research & planning, bookkeeping and financial statement preparation. Resolve Tax Matters
• Research and resolve federal and state tax issues. Respond on Behalf of Clients
• Respond to IRS and state tax matters. Client Services
• Build trusted client relationships and work collaboratively with staff and clients.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting 2+ years of recent public accounting tax experience preparing individual and business tax returns Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws CPA or CPA candidate a plus Strong organizational, communication, analytical, client service and PC skills including MS Office and QuickBooks software proficiency (UltraTax software proficiency is a plus) Ability to prepare individual and business tax returns, juggle priorities and meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Experience in the agricultural, energy or restaurant franchise industries is a plus
