This position reports onsite at our Cranberry Township locationwith the potential to move to a hybrid schedule. Salary Range - Depending on Experience. General Summary Detail oriented and proactive with a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting and a passion for supporting the financial well-being of our members. Plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, supporting the Credit Union and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Essential Functions Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations and journal entries Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports for management Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and financial performance Ensure compliance with accounting principles, internal controls and Credit Union policies and procedures Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits, providing requested documentation and support. Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to align financial plans with strategic goals. Prepare tax filings, including IRS 945A and other relevant financial reporting requirements. Maintain and update accounting records in accordance with applicable regulatory guidelines and industry best practices Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and coordinate with external auditors during the audit process. Assist in tracking and reporting on the Credit Union's investments, loans and other financial products Continuously improve financial reporting processes and recommend enhancements to systems and procedures. Perform other duties as may be assigned. Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, or a combination of equivalent experience and education Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a credit union, banking or financial services environment Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and tax regulations. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - with an emphasis in Excel Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and trends Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners Knowledge of financial institution and regulatory requirements is a plus This position reports ONSITE at our
