Job Description
Position Summary The Accountant IV (AIVF) is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information by adhering to effective, compliant finance processes, including Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulatory requirements. This role supports various accounting processes from transaction to financial close and external reporting, ensuring the transformation of data into meaningful financial reports for the organization. Key Responsibilities Support end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) accounting activities and general ledger events Process complex financial transactions and identify/examine exceptions Prepare and post journal entries for complex general ledger accounts Reconcile general ledger activities to ensure accurate trial balances Support complex recurring and one-time transactions, such as accruals and intercompany adjustments Conduct advanced account reconciliations and financial data analysis Document detailed processes for complex reconciliations, accruals, and allocations Apply technical accounting guidance to one-time or recurring transactions Assist with supporting ERP and R2R support tool implementation Develop and maintain consistent end-to-end financial and accounting processes Support global, regional, and country-specific R2R processes Capture performance metrics at team and individual levels Participate in rotating assignments within regional and global service centers to expand understanding of diverse lines of business and regulatory environments Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience Experience working the full accounting cycle from transaction through consolidation and reporting Experience with accounting software applications such as PeopleSoft Strong written and oral communication skills in English Public accounting experience in the U.S. preferred Ability to handle complex financial transactions, reconciliations, and exception analysis Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in financial services accounting preferred Knowledge of internal governance frameworks and enterprise problem-solving methodologies Experience supporting multiple geographic and regulatory environments Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Why This Opportunity May Be Appealing This role offers the chance to work within a global team supporting a broad range of financial accounting activities.
