full-time firstPRO is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a well-established organization in the Exton, PA area. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with a strong background in construction, project/cost accounting, and WIP reporting who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Looking to hire ASAP!

Key Responsibilities:

• Support month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Perform project and cost accounting , including WIP reporting and analysis
• Analyze financial performance and investigate actual results against budgets and forecasts
• Prepare and review financial and operational reports for accuracy
• Assist with income statement, cash flow, and capital forecasting
• Support annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting activities
• Partner with accounting leadership and operational teams on financial matters
• Assist with audit requests, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting
• Identify opportunities to improve and standardize accounting processes
• Work within a recently implemented ERP environment and assist with ongoing process optimization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Construction project/cost accounting experience required
• WIP reporting experience required
• Strong understanding of month-end close, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting
• Strong ERP/system aptitude; experience with system implementations or ERP transitions is highly desirable
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Schedule & Compensation:

This position offers a hybrid schedule with four days onsite and one remote day per week . The remote day may be Monday through Thursday. Permanent compensation up to $94,750 , based on experience.
