full-time A real estate investment and property management organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its corporate accounting team in Newtown Square, PA. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with property operations and leadership while supporting the accounting and financial reporting functions for a diverse real estate venture portfolio. The ideal candidate will have property accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and a desire to grow within a collaborative and stable organization. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records Assist with monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and budget-to-actual reviews Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes Maintain accounting records and data within property management systems Partner with property management teams to ensure accurate tenant billing and financial reporting Assist with compliance-related accounting activities and reporting requirements Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 2+ years of accounting experience Experience in real estate or property management accounting required Experience with property management/accounting software such as MRI, Yardi, Entrata, or QuickBooks preferred Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail View the full list of our open positions here: Main Line Search Job Openings
