TAX ACCOUNTANT

- Entry Level Plymouth Meeting, PA $70,000- $80,000 A growing and well-established CPA firm is seeking a Tax Accountant to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Accounting or Finance graduate who is interested in building a long-term career in tax accounting and public accounting . No prior public accounting experience is required. The firm is willing to train a motivated new graduate and provide hands-on exposure to individual and business tax engagements, with a clear path for professional growth and advancement.

OVERVIEW OF THE TAX ACCOUNTANT ROLE

Assist with the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses Support tax research and analysis under the guidance of experienced CPAs Prepare workpapers, schedules, and supporting documentation for tax engagements Assist with tax planning and compliance projects Work with financial statements and accounting records to identify relevant tax information Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve basic questions Assist senior accountants and CPAs throughout tax season and during year-round client engagements Develop an understanding of current tax laws, regulations, and accounting practices Take on increasing responsibility as technical knowledge and experience grow

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE TAX ACCOUNTANT

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Recent graduates are encouraged to apply Internship or coursework related to tax/public accounting is a plus, but not required Strong interest in pursuing a career in tax and public accounting Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail #
