This role supports day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting within a collaborative finance team. Staff Accountant:

General Accounting:

Prepare journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and perform account reconciliations to support accurate financial reporting.

Month-End Close:

Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities while preparing supporting schedules and financial analyses.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash applications, and other day-to-day accounting functions.

Financial Reporting:

Assist in preparing financial reports, analyzing variances, and maintaining accurate accounting records in accordance with company policies.

Audit & Compliance:

Support internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

Process Improvement:

Assist with system enhancements, cross-functional projects, and initiatives designed to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency. Qualifications for the

Staff Accountant:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

Experience:

1-3 years of accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment is required.

Industry Knowledge:

Experience supporting month-end close and general ledger accounting, along with manufacturing exposure, is preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems is required. Experience with CSI, Avanti, or similar ERP systems is a plus.

Skills & Attributes:

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a desire to grow within a collaborative finance team.
