Job Description:

About the Company Growing manufacturing client expanding it's accounting team, seeks a team player and accounting professional flexible to diverse work responsibilities. About the Role Staff Accountant - Hybrid - On-site 3 Days Per Week, Remote 2 Days Per Week Responsibilities Process cash receipts, deposits, ACH payments, wire transfers, and credit card transactions. Record and reconcile cash disbursements, payroll activity, transfers, and bank accounts. Prepare monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Calculate and process sales representative and buying group commissions. Prepare annual 1099 reporting and related tax documentation. Manage collections, customer account inquiries, and payment issue resolution. Coordinate new customer setup, including credit reviews and tax documentation. Assist with internal and external audits and financial reporting requirements. Provide backup support for accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Monitor and respond to accounting department email inquiries. Collaborate with internal departments on reporting, problem-solving, and special projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required. 3-5+ years of accounting experience preferred. Manufacturing accounting experience preferred. Experience with account reconciliations, cash management, AP/AR, collections, and financial reporting. Experience with accounting or ERP systems required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
