As an Accounting Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial integrity, operational efficiency, and stewardship of our organization.

Accounting Operations and Financial Support ...
Transaction Processing:
Review, route, and process core financial transactions, including accounts payable, cash deposits, billing, receivables, corporate card activity, and journal entries.
Cash and Banking:
Receive, safeguard, and log checks and cash; prepare timely deposits following established internal controls; review bank activity and control logs.
Close and Reconciliation Support:
Prepare recurring journal entries, schedules, inventory records, and reconciliations for the accounting close process using close management software.
Disbursement Cycle:
Review documentation, prepare payments, maintain vendor records, handle tax documentation, and support year-end reporting.
Records, Workflow and Customer Service Communications & Mailbox Management:
Monitor shared accounting inboxes, work queues, and project tools to ensure timely, responsive service to internal departments, vendors, and external partners.
Recordkeeping and Security:
Maintain organized, accurate electronic and physical records; process incoming mail; handle confidential financial data with discretion.
Issue Resolution:
Research routine exceptions, missing documentation, and billing inquiries, escalating higher-risk matters when necessary.
Controls, Systems and Continuous Improvement Internal Controls:
Execute daily tasks in accordance with approval limits, review controls, segregation of duties, and organizational policies.
Technology and Automation:
Leverage modern accounting software, workflow tools, and spreadsheets to streamline tasks, standardize procedures, and enhance reporting quality.
Process Enhancement:
Identify opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls, and support financial system implementations, upgrades, or integrations.

Associate or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

Experience:
